Agreed! However the little detailed pieces would be more than my stiff, fat, little fingers can handle. I would obsess over the details and I JUST don't have the patience that I used to have when I was a little less gray.

It looks like she is already loosing her marbles over that challenge for I see one of them laying over in the corner.

I've already perfected it...learned from my father at an early age. My mother used to call him, "General Gonna-do-it". It took awhile for the lesson to stick, but the older I get the more the advantages come to light.

I'll look into it in the next few days.

Whew...fat fingers would be one handicap for me...

I'd have to double-up my bi-focals first though.

That's what Optivisors are for, my friend. I have a 2.5X I use for saw sharpening, splinters, and any other close work smaller than an elephant...

I've been planning to join the procrastinator's club for 25 years, but I seem to just continue to put it off until next year!

I hope the work that went into that is fully appreciated..This couldn't happen in my shop, at least, not if I was the one using the tools.

Splinters and small work, yep. But for sharpening, blood seems to be my method.

Use a Marks-a-lot, it's much easier to see then your blood. Once the blood dries it blends in with the rust...er...oxidation discolorations, and make it hard to see where you have already been...
