Popular Post Gene Howe Posted November 21, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted November 21, 2017 Came in a no nonsense plain brown box. Packed well. Initial impressions, very solidly built, a tad heavy, sealed on/off buttons, 6' cord, box style DC. Nice, comfortable top grip. Not too soft, not too hard, just right. Variable speed. Velcro pad. Came with 6 sanding discs. Minimal vibration on high. Fairly aggressive, great DC. Hardly any residual dust after 5 minutes of use with 80 grit. Easily controlled on crotch grained mesquite. It replaces a not quite dead PC 5". I think I'll like this one better. Fred W. Hargis Jr, HandyDan, p_toad and 6 others 9 Quote
lew Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Looks like a really nice unit! Very similar in design to the DeWalt I have. Quote
Gene Howe Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 Not sure of the manufacturer. Maybe some indication, the manual says to take it to the nearest Ryobi repair center for repairs. Quote

Is this the one,Gene, is it a 5",or 6" disc? http://www.powertools.com-affordable.com/sanders/tacklife-random-orbit-sander-prs01a-classic-variable-speed-2-8a13000-opm-orbit-sander-with-12-pcs-sandpaper-80-180-grits-6pcs-each-5-inch Herb Quote
Gene Howe Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 It's a 5", Herb. Didn't see a 6" listed. All my other ones are 5" so my supply of discs limits me to 5". Don't sand very large pieces, anyway. Dadio 1 Quote

Gene Howe Posted November 22, 2017 Author Report Posted November 22, 2017 The manual is not Chinglish. Their ad writers and tech writers went to different ESL schools. Do you polish your precision jobs? Cal, Grandpadave52, HARO50 and 1 other 4 Quote
Grandpadave52 Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Good review Gene...never heard of this name brand but worth the look. Best thing is it comes in a plain brown wrapper so wife wouldn't a new tool arrived. Cal, p_toad, HARO50 and 1 other 4 Quote
