November 14, 20178 yr Popular Post comment_131288 Eight bucks at the local resale store! One has a junk plate which is sad is it was such a full plated speciman! D8 thumbhole, number 12 and I believe a number 16 in the group that will be very workable. The other two are TBD. I wasnt in the saw market but the deal was pretty good and they are pretty straight and clean. More winter work for me. Report
November 14, 20178 yr comment_131308 You've got your work cut out for you on a couple of those plates. They are pretty rusted and pitted. I'm glad to see you saving these old workhorses. Edited November 14, 20178 yr by schnewj Report
November 14, 20178 yr comment_131312 So do you wear a mask (to cover up the big smile) when you find these deals? That's $50 or more worth of saws around here in similar condition... 11 minutes ago, schnewj said: I'm glad to see you saving these old workhorses. Like Bill said, I appreciate you saving these from a horrible fate...the stories those saws could tell???? Report
