I watched David Marks keep a 5 gallon of water in his shop, then he threw the rags in it and pushed them into the water with a stick. That always struck me as a lot of effort, but he lives in CA. and maybe there was some rule requiring him to do it that way. I've always just laid them spread out somewhere where they won't ignite anything and let them dry...then it's to the trash.

I thought Marks was in Phoenix. At any rate, he left and, is now in CO. Something about a better environment for child rearing and a bigger shop. 

WOW, those tables are stunning. Absolutely beautiful and very well done.

Gene, are you thinking of that Spahnolo (sp?) guy? AFAIK, David Marks is still in CA.

You are absolutely right, Fred. It was The Wood Whisperer that moved to CO.

You can see how I got them mixed up. Marks, Spagnolo...such similar spelling, right?
