Does anybody here make their own acrylic blanks? I have been doing a lot of research on resin, molds, vacuum chambers and pressure pots.

I do not but, I helped a friend start up a business making cold cast porcelain objects. We used both vacuum and pressure to get the bubbles from the mixture so that there were no defects in the finished items.

We had a local weld shop make the pressure pot and he bought a vacuum pump and plexi bell unit. We would cast "one of" artist objects into what ever quantity the artist wanted. We also made our own rubber molds for each of the object to be cast.
