June 28, 20179 yr Popular Post A few years ago Karen made a fairy garden in our back yard. I made her some wooden things like mushrooms, frogs and a dragon. She has been unable to do it this year due to knee surgery. We discovered that the idiot that made Puff the magic dragon didn't use waterproof glue. So today I fixed him and gave him a paint job. June 28, 20179 yr Author Stick, I hadn't thought about the gooney birds. We were involved in an assault with hundreds of infantry and other support. When the goonies fired, it sounded like one massive burp and they laid out thousands of rounds and every sixth one was a tracr. It was a night assault and it lit up the skies. Then for a finale........the B52s started with 500 lb bombs...........something I'll never forget.
June 29, 20179 yr Author Very Nice! I hope she gets up and around quickly from her surgery. Going to be slow, they reconstructed the knee due to a benign tumor. As soon as that heals, she has meniscus surgery on the same knee. Could take a year.
June 29, 20179 yr Wishing Karen the best and a successful, rapid and full recovery. Nice job on the dragon. My grandsons would love that.
June 29, 20179 yr One bullet every square foot of an area the size of a football field in less than 3 seconds (or something like that). My BIL served with Puff in Viet Nam. But back to the dragon, it's really cool! Edited June 29, 20179 yr by Fred W. Hargis Jr
