Hi all,

Stick said I should check things out here on your forum and sent me an invite.  I do notice a few familiar names so at least I know what to expect from them.

I have over 50 years woodworking experience that started in my uncles shop when I was around 10 or 12 years old.  I'm still using his radial arm saw in my shop that I used when making projects with him when I was a kid.  I took all the wood shop classes in school that they offered.

Last job I had was building one of a kind custom aircraft cabinetry for the big wide bodied jets up to 777, did that for a little over 12 years.  Before that my wife and I were in partnership with another couple in a furniture and collectibles business.

I was forced into early retirement and now I do woodworking to supplement my income and keep me off the streets and out of trouble.  I do CNC design files for people that just don't want to waist their time on the computer and would rather spend their time in the shop.   I also do custom inlays in end grained cutting boards for for a cutting board company.  I find it hard to find time for my own projects but do manage to sneak one in now and then.  I do CNC work, turning on a lathe, marquetry and make boxes.

I hope I might be able to help out now and then answering questions and hope I learn a few new things along the way.

Mike

Welcome to the forum, Mike.

Welcome aboard Mike.  Are you familiar with the donut policy here?  New members bring 'em...

Cal

Bill

Glad you're here Mike.  Look forward to your participation.

Thank you so much Mike for joining us! With experience like you have, our forums just became more valuable!

I look forward to seeing all that wonderful knowledge imparted here Mike.

And welcome!

I had never heard of Nevada, Tx so I had to look it up.

Kinda like when I tell people I was born in Tokio, Tx. The first think they say, you don't look foreign. I use a cnc scroll saw. The only one in my neighborhood....

Welcome aboard Mike. I think you will like it here

I knew all of you were waiting for donuts so I got up early this morning and I went and got a good selection of everything they had.  I can tell you everyone is top notch and go together with cold milk or hot coffee.  Here you go, enjoy!

Are you talking about the one near Lubbock or are you talking about the one near West?  I've been through the one near West when I lived in Waco many years ago

Thanks for the invite Stick.  I just need to find the time to fill in my profile then I can start sharing my 2 cents worth now and then.  Might share some a penny at a time.

Just one small bite, I had to make sure it was good because I only want the best for you!

Bill the bridge is only 3 foot wide and made of rope but all the knots have been reinforced with the best super glue money can buy.  I'm sure you will find that you can drive a locomotive over it with no concerns and it will keep ducks feet dry when they use it to get to the other side of the river.  AND best of all because of it's engineered design it is easily transportable to new locations just by wading it up and putting it in your pocket.

How many would you like to order?  THEY MAKE GREAT GIFTS!

Thanks all for all the Welcomes.  I look forward to being part of this group.

To show my appreciation, here a another batch of donuts that I thought would be appropriate for this group.
