Happy Father's Day weekend to you all. Looks like I'll be moving lumber most of tomorrow, picking up a load of cedar to do two Green Egg Tables before the 4th.

Today after getting off work at the shooting range we finished the light sanding of the live edge shelves for the customer with the desk.

I finishing the legs for a walnut desk for the manager at the range this weekend also.

Sunday I plan on a little R&R and maybe a little shooting time without working, although today I did get in around 250 rounds.

So so what is on your agend for this Father's Day weekend?  We all love hearing about your projects and plans so share them.

I want to wish all the Fathers on here a great day. I hope you have an awesome weekend.

Remember what ever you do have fun and be safe.

Happy Fathers Day!!!!

Spent the last 36 hours restoring the PC. I have  a love/hate relationship with Windows. Be leary of the Windows 10 Creators Update. It worked fine on 3 of my computers but the 4th, well. Luckily I imaged the HDD a few weeks ago so the recovery wasn't too bad- except that I tried to do the upgrade again after the first reimage and the same failures occurred. Did get the grass mowed and string trimmed while waiting on various updates to finish.

Maybe get some shop time, too humid outside to do much out there.

Sitting here waiting for my brother to pick me up.  Today is this months day to get together with my siblings and have dinner and catch up.  I see my brother every weekend but the other four about once a month.  Supposed to rain tomorrow so maybe some shop time.

Well I made the first run to the saw mill this morning and picked up 500bf of Red Elm and 500 bf of Sycamore.

IMG_8033.JPGBack luck on the way home, blew one of

the tires on the right side of the trailer and had to drive it home. Ruined the tire and probably the wheel. I was on a narrow two lane with no where to pull off.

Ill take it it off when I finish unloading. Still got to go back and pick up a load of cedar.

First post in awhile...with the second kid here things have slowed down for me a bit. I am still at it on the cherry blanket chest. I can see the light finally on this one. Only have the drawer and cove molding at the base left and then prep for finishing.IMG_2335.thumb.JPG.bdaa680520d7e857089e49aead3e081a.JPG

I have gotten a couple smaller projects finished up recently. Finished up a live edge gun display for an Eagle Scout rifle. Also made a little valet box for myself out of white oak and walnut. First time I have made something for myself.

I downloaded it last night and it trashed my ability to access my audio.  Ended up reverting back to tyhe previous version of Windows 10.

Because of the way Windows updates are being pushed out, I went in and set my system so that I have to manually check and update. It was a pretty easy registry hack. The registry change is available as an executable.
