Hear the same stuff all the time, with the same words......still a lot of money for a simple holder for a sharp blade. 

 

Could go on an epic rant.......some other time.....

Another oft heard comment:

 

"Oh, I have one of those (insert model # here) and LOVE it.    I don't use it much, but it is nice to have around when I do need it."

 

 

$300 for a plane that will sit around, maybe gets used on All Saints Day?    Strange, indeed. 

 

BTW...all but one of my planes were made in USA.   New Britain CONN, and Millers Falls, MA.    Most are older than I am,  and get used in almost every project. 

 

"Too much work to fix up one of those old planes.."   Waaaaaaahhhh.   maybe an hour, total?

I'll have to agree...most of mine are refurbs, but a LN or Veritas is a pleasure to use...

 

I hope Stick doesn't see that video... I wish I could post that on some other places to wake up some people.
