June 5, 20179 yr Popular Post I started with some Blood Wood scraps in my hand on the way to toss them and some of it kind of looked like a flower petal. I made it and coated it with epoxy, which wasn't a good idea, won't do that again. I wanted to get a more natural looking surface, didn't come out as I hoped. It looked pretty sad. I redid some of it, still didn't like it. My wife said "Why don't you put a butterfly on it" I did, 2 of them. Edited December 5, 20178 yr by Ron Dudelston tags added
June 5, 20179 yr I love it when you go digging around in your scrap bin with the intent of tossing something away! You always see something in those scraps that turns into a one of a kind piece of art! Amazing vision Ron! Thanks!
June 5, 20179 yr Ron, you are too hard on yourself ,you came up with a winner and your wife had a very creative idea which gave the piece that extra touch. Mike

July 4, 20179 yr Ron I've seen flowers that even with help could not look that good. Great use of those scraps.
