Favorite Magazine for Turners?

Featured Replies

Turners!

What is your favorite magazine?  Do you still subscribe to magazines?  What is your favorite source of information for turning?  Is on-line your favorite?

Thanks!

Jim

I don't subscribe to any.  I will be interested in the answers as well.

There aren't that many, if you mean dedicated turning mags. I did join the AAW for about 3 years just to get theirs. It's really good, but most of the stuff was wayyyyy over my wanna-be turner head. On line is not my favorite, either for recordings or reading articles....but I'm old and set in my ways.

American Woodturners is all I get from AAW. Get a lot at woodturning club every month.AAW forum is great for technical questions and many pros stop by there.

@Fred W. Hargis Jr some of no interest or over my head too , but it is fun and still find some I can do well or help my technique

Like Gerald, I only get the American Woodturner and while I look through it when it comes but that's about it. I would belong to AAW even without the magazine they offer.

Steve

I don't get any magazines. I watch a lot of turning videos on youtube. There are two guys I follow on there pretty regular.

Thanks very much all....  I've been in the Woodworking industry for 30+ years, and there are plenty of general wwing mags out there.  Thought I might be missing something, but not so much.  Thanks!
