Looks like something I'd buy....and not say a word. Lathe chisels, three scraper, and the router bit set....might be worth the spare change. I have the version made by SKIL, for the "work Surface"....and mine has a router.

I'm sure this is just a Standard Disclaimer but it made me laugh never-the-less... Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup. I would have been interested in the 'channel lock pliers' except they had blue handles...all my Channel Lock pliers already have blue handles (grips) on them so it might be too confusing. I do have a couple of pair of Snap-on pliers with red handles and a couple pair of John Deere with black grips (handles) and two pair of Stanley with yellow grips (handles). Must be a proprietary thing. Wish I had thought up the work surface with a cord & switch thing though...I could retire

I also have some that clamp bars, and some that clamp Fs and Cs. Still others clamp ponies, bessies (cows), springs, and adjustables (whatever those are). Mr Literal told me about all these.
May 15, 20179 yr Speaking of clamps, there's one that resembles a spring clamp but appears to ratchet. Looks handy as heck. Does anybody know what they're called and who makes them?

May 16, 20179 yr Author Yes, I got something like this with an assortment of Quik-Grip clamps. My problem is that it is really difficult to get much force on the pads because there's no mechanical advantage. That is, if you put 40 lb of squeeze on the handle, you get about 40 lb of squeeze on the head. The ratchet merely locks it in place (sort of like a La-z-boy footrest). Might just be that brand. http://www.irwin.com/tools/clamps/handi-clamps Edited May 16, 20179 yr by kmealy

So, scratch that one off my list. Edited May 16, 20179 yr by Gene Howe

On YouTube, I've only seen them used to hold stops for milling operations. They are handy for such uses but, I'll stick with my Ponys. I'm in no hurry. Edited May 16, 20179 yr by Gene Howe
