May 2, 20179 yr comment_108212 Had something unusual with Fresh pecan log yesterday. Limb came down Sunday and I turned two sections yesterday. The cambium layer (just under the bark) peeled off like a wrapper. This log was covered in a fern growth an this growth and some. Bark peeled easily by hand. Have turned green pecan before and never anything like this happpened. Report
