Hey @RustyFN, from the members map I see you are in Parkersburg, Woodcraft territory! Have you been to the main store, is it different than the rest of the franchises? I would imagine it would be the flagship.

Hey John. Not sure what you mean by main store. The Woodcraft here is the only one I have been to. It is a decent store but not real big. They have a few of a lot of different things. For example they have three lathes, large, mid and small. The same thing with bandsaws, sanders, jointers and so on. They have a decent selection on wood, glue, finishes and everything else. I love to go in and dream. We also have a Woodcraft warehouse in town. My neighbor works at the warehouse. She picks and packs products for shipping.

John I see you are in So Cal. I was actually born and raised in the SF Bay Area. I moved out in 1996.

Wise choice. Love WV and VA. Gorgeous country. Why did you move there?

Gene we moved to WV because we couldn't handle CA any longer. It was getting too expensive and crazy. My wife and I had been here on vacation to visit some people she knew and liked it so much we decided to move here. Never regretted it.

Nothing against California because I have great friends there but you couldn't pay me to live there.  I love living in the flyover zone.

Ron we don't even like to go back to visit family and friends.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks traveling throughout California last summer because she had never been there (and I had). We saw some beautiful country and had a delightful visit with Allen and Tami Worsham but the California politics and I don't see eye to eye.  You chose wisely.  West Virginia folks are great people.  The salt of the earth.

We attended a wedding in VA and drove around WV a lot. We really enjoyed it and, the people are great.

Ron, once you get away from coastal SoCal, it's a beautiful state. It's a crying shame that the good folks of CA have to suffer the excesses that spew out of Sacramento.

Edit: Just saw your post. We think alike.
