April 5, 20179 yr Popular Post Let's face it, not all woodworkers have the time nor the willingness to build a workbench, a commercial shop for example, may just want to get a few benches in their shop, and fast. Or even a small shop like most of us have, not all of us are motivated to make our own bench, we just want to get to work! There are many brands out there, and most of them from the big outfits, are not inexpensive, but, I found a really neat outfit that is selling their benches, Made in the USA, for a very reasonable cost. Check em out at: Nice benches, nice prices. Great craftsmanship, and good vises, they are not skimping, they are installing Veritas type vises. The good stuff.
April 5, 20179 yr Beautiful line of benches with a full complement of accessories available for a variety of use applications. I enjoy the various titles of the product line too. Fun to admire and dream. Thanks John

Thanks John I think they are just as good or better than the big name brands, and less expensive, it appears a mom n pop outfit, made in the USA, if I were in the market I would seriously consider sending my hard earned funds to that family.
April 5, 20179 yr What!? Harbor Freight is not good enough? That Ashley Hall reminds me of Jr. High shop class's workbench.
April 5, 20179 yr Really nice benches...made up a standard, no frills "Paul Revere", two vises, quick release, black lettering...$2,715... My favorite would be the Minuteman... Edited April 5, 20179 yr by Nickp
April 5, 20179 yr Wow. Looking at the price for some accessories and the Veratus standard has gone up to 289 and the only LV front vise I could find (still not like my record style) quick release is 389. Think I might have paid 250 total for the 2. I can really see these benches as a bargain. Not to mention it took me 2 years to find white oak I could afford. Guess I will have to post some pics of that build in a new post.
April 5, 20179 yr A bit late in the game for me, but, I think the Big John would be ideal for my purposes. Only a bit over $700.00
