Text Response Functions MIA

Featured Replies

Just noticed this AM in the Text Box response Command bar, the sub/super script buttons are gone...pretty sure they were there yesterday...can we bring them back?

Maybe coincides with additions to bottom of page???

Mine gone, too. And, the bottom of the page additions are disconcerting. Might just be my machine but it interferes with navigation and seems to slow the site.

I, too, noticed some of the functions of the site seemed to have slowed down. Especially loading notification at the top rite of a page.

I use a Kindle, I can imagine the problems phone users might have with the bottom addition.

Thanks for the feedback Gene, the bottom footer feature is not enabled in mobile view.

Thanks Lew, the slowness of the site should not be related to the new footer, yet it could be related to the latest security update that was applied lastnight, it may take a couple days for the all the content to re-index, in other words there are some processes happening in the back ground that are gobbling up resources temporarily, lets give the community another day to see if what you are experiencing goes away.

On an aside, the speed has not changed on my end, the site is still loading the same as it was before.

Gene, can you please provide a screen shot of how it interferes with navigation, thanks!

Tanks for the heads up Gramps, fixed.

No, it was the security upgrade last-night, after the upgrade patch the default tool bar defaulted to what you saw earlier. Just now upon reading your report, I re-applied my own custom features I had added to the tool bar from the beginning, ie: superscript, background color, font and preview. You should see the goodies back on the toolbar now.

The main site is/was OK. It was only opening the Notifications window that took a long time. Much better today.

Good to hear Lew. Please keep the feedback coming guys. We want to move forward, never backward.

Thanks John...all "systems are go again"... As for site slow-down, navigation or other anomalies, I had not experienced any of those issues; however nearly all of my time spent onTPW is from my desk-top. Prefer the 19" & 21" dual screen functions...it's a bifocal thing:P...Fingers are too fat to do much from my phone...seldom logged-in on my tablet.
