Popular Post PeteM Posted February 15, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) I decided to rearrange my air line at the main bench, and while at it put in a pressure regulator (pinners want lower pressure). Went looking on Amazon, got fooled first by "air regulator" (turned out to be just a ball valve, advertised as flow regulator, waste of money) before I found this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IDCYKEY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. At just over $10, it's really inexpensive. Has metal bracket, mounts to wall quite nicely, and also acts as shut off. Instructions are backward, but I think that's because it was made 180 degrees around the world? Anyway, nice piece. Edited November 24, 2017 by Ron Dudelston tags added HARO50, Fred W. Smallpatch Posted February 21, 2017 Report Posted February 21, 2017 You really aught to add a water trap to that set up while you are at it. Air nailers and air powered tools would really appreciate you more if you did... p_toad and HARO50 2 Quote
Smallpatch Posted February 21, 2017 Report Posted February 21, 2017 There are a number of different kind of water traps. The automatic kind that kicks out the water ever so often which is the highest cost. Then they got one that to let the water out just press in the spring loaded valve on the bottom of the bowl. And finally they got one that to let the water out, simply turn a knob on the bottom of the bowl , let the water out, then turn the knob off when you think you should... p_toad and HARO50 2 Quote
Gene Howe Posted February 22, 2017 Report Posted February 22, 2017 It's good to drain the tank each day, too. p_toad and HARO50 2 Quote
