All lumber is pressure treated, including the CDX plywood. They'll be fine. They might get a roof over them next year. Plan to make 4 tomorrow. Heavy is good for rifle benches. I know from experience.

January 21, 20179 yr Author and yes, i know i left the tags on more than one piece of lumber. feel free to visit the range, remove one or more tags as a memento, and then enjoy your day shooting. i know how to do fine woodworking, and this isn't that. these are sturdy, functional, weather resistant items that will serve their purpose just fine.
January 21, 20179 yr Nice job DAB gives me ideas for my club range. Our firing positions are enclosed, a bit noisy but good in bad weather.
