Michael Thuman Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 Great work on the stairs did you consider replacing the drywall at the edges of the stairs with a oak runner board to thwart the teens and rambunctious guests? If a foot slips and shoots to the end of the stair tread to hit the wall would it better to have the foot captured in the drywall hole or stopped by the oak runner board? It all depends on the severity of the fall and resulting actions of the person. Quote
