January 3, 20179 yr Author I swept the floor around the drill press and jointer. I picked that up and noticed these blanks ready to turn. So next I thought I should get them out of the way.
January 3, 20179 yr Looks pretty good to me John... Why finish today what you can put off until tomorrow? Besides you're just going to mess it up again aren't you?

January 3, 20179 yr Popular Post This pass spring I was in the rafters of my shop looking for something and spent 16 hours over two days cleaning and sorting. Had a couple of " why am I saving this" & " I forgot I had this" moments. Well its a new year and I still don't remember what I went looking for, I'm sure the lightbulb will turn on sooner or later.
January 4, 20179 yr Slowly overcoming my inherent status as a cluttered intellectual to have an organized workshop. Spent a good aprt of the day Monday cleaning things up,...much better now...
January 4, 20179 yr Don't do tomorrow what you can put off til next week...or next month. If you work at it, you too can be a master procrastinator. I give free lessons....starting soon.

January 5, 20179 yr Them are some really nice turnings. From looking in the background of your picture. Your shop looks like mine!! I don't think your shop looks messy.
January 5, 20179 yr Somehow I seemed to make a bigger mess than I clean up. Now when my wife comes out, it gets cleaned and I get exhausted
