Very unusual piece of firewood

In my old garage work shop, I had a wood burning stove. I cut wood for it and bought some too. One day as I was tossing wood in the fire, I noticed something VERY unusual on the end of one piece of spalted apple. A real STAR in the middle of it. I darned near tossed it away.  Anyway I got an inspiration and made 6 nativity settings for my family.

It was about 7 inches in dia

Ron, you sure have an artist's eye. Awesome Job!

Nice find and creative use of that piece of wood.

So nice! Good eye to catch that.

Definitely one of a kind. Attention to details is what saved it. Nice work.

Great find. Great eye. Great job. Your unique artistic talent is an inspiration.

@Ron Altier...can I borrow your glasses for a while?:P You have a gift for seeing what can be before it's even out of the log.

I'm in awe! Just Awesome.
