December 7, 20169 yr When Judy and I visited Pearl Harbour, I was in awe of the sites and sounds of remembering what happened there. Then we visited the "Punch Bowl" where those heroes are buried - sobering experience - that our guys were part of a "volcanic" type battle are, in fact, buried in an extinct volcano.
December 7, 20169 yr I have had the privilege to visit Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial 2 times. Once with my wife when we were on our honeymoon in 1984 and once while on vacation with our kids in 2004. It is definitely a "Not Miss" if you ever have the opportunity to find yourself in Oahu, Hawaii.
March 28, 20179 yr Popular Post I had the honor of having this in my back yard for 3 years. Ford Island now has military housing on it where I lived from 2013-2016. I drove by it every day, visited it once a month at least to do a re-enlistment for our sailors. So much history there, it was an honor to be there every time.
