Saturday's woodworking Quiz - December 3, 2016

Good Morning Friends,

Well here is today's quiz; How can one achieve six profiles with one router bit?

up & down and the fence

What Stick said

And, you can adjust the bit height (up or down) to use only part of a profile, use a smaller or larger bearing

Add a wedge/ramp to angle how the wood meets the bit.  Use the TALL fence to run the face of a board past the bit.

Or....just get a Stanley #45 and change cutters as needed....like I do.

Or, read the article in issue 240, July 2016 of WOOD magazine: 6 Profiles from One Router Bit

Hello All,

Chips and Dust gave the correct answer as  his answer was exactly where this quiz came from and  Jim Heavey made it simple.
