I stumbled across this weeks information thru a series of links off of Facebook. What caught my eye, at first, was the information about "negative rake" scrapers. Some time back, Patriot member @Cliff posted some information about this particular grind and its' benefits. Following the links brought me to the website of Rudolf Lopez.

He has a series of articles/tutorials on turning various objects- vases, bowls, etc. Check out the site! Also there's a video on turning a "twice turned bowl"-

 The video is a little long but it's an interesting concept.

I watched the twice turned with Rudy Lopez.  That opens a few different possibilities.  What if the top was left as is and hollowed for a box?  Add a Lid?  Put that on my things to do list.
