Delete button

Featured Replies

Do we have (I may not be smart enough to see it) a "delete" button when we open the edit window? If not, can we have one? I just made a duplicate post and couldn't figure out how the delete the second one.

Fred, the duplicate posts issue was supposed to be resolved, but obviously it was not, a couple days ago I had a duplicate as well.

Unfortunately we do not have a delete button for our contributors.

But for now if I could ask you to allow us to leave the duplicate post up, this way we can trouble shoot the issue further. Thanks Fred for reporting this.

Great idea. As a moderator, I used our delete function and really screwed up a thread. A less aggressive functioning delete button for submitted posts would be good.  Although, if it were used after others have replied, it could get confusing.

It's a hassle, but you could just hit edit and delete with backspace.

Edit and just re-write to

*** Duplicate post deleted ***

That's kindof what I did, but I wanted to just make it go "poof".

Maybe John can make "poof" an option.:D

I found the poof button but it doesn't work.

Would be nice to have one.

Usually when I get a double post is when I hit the submit button and nothing happens so I hit it again and again and soon I get a double post. Maybe it the forum was set so that a submit the second time gets a window or something asking if you want to submit twice,or some such thing.
