Whats on your workbench for real

With the phone camera, all of us can show, for real, what is on our workbench. I enjoy seeing that most of us are as messy as me. But I also see great ideas of organization and placement of tools.  I don't comment much, but keep on keeping on:)

It is fun Ron! Haven't seen folks posting much in there though, don't forget folks, just a quick hit-n-run at:

You don't even need a description, just snap, load it up!

Of course, on the upside though, if you ever want to get back into a digital camera, they've come down in price a whole bunch, a decent camera with excellent resolution can be had for around 75 bucks. And, depending on your cell service you have, they may have a free smart phone ready for you if you extend your service out a year or two. Worth checking into anyway.

Ok, have some cutting done & glued. This will yield a 6"x 9" top, to be framed later. Working on some material for the sides of the box.

As one of the last 3 folks in this country without a cell phone, I guess I need to look into getting one.  hearty-laugh.gif

Handy Dan hasn't one either...

Count me in on not having a cell phone. My wife got the cheapest thing from Wal Mart, the phone was almost free and you have to buy the minutes which she bought about 700 minutes on it back some years ago. Only 30 minutes is gone off the top so far and it sits under the monitor, been sitting there for about three or four years. It rings ever so often but I never pick it up for I don't even know how to answer it. My hearing aids I blame for the no use.

I use to see a deaf guy long ago and always thought that would be the worse thing a person had to live with. Not completely there yet but I know for sure not being able to hear is almost as bad as being dead. But so far I can't compare the to without lying a little.

So my little SD 300 Canon takes the place of a cell phone and I don't have to talk to it.

Recently, we ditched our landline and went cellular. We've had a Tracphone for years we carry in the car. It's got Bluetooth so we can use it hands free while driving.

We bought a Samsung S 5 to replace the house phones. Amazon has refurbed ones for $200. Then, we got a set of 3 Panasonic "Link 2 cell" units. So, now we have phones in the house, car and shop.

I'm just now learning to use the camera features on the Samsung.

Since we were bundled with Frontier, we lost Dish TV when we dropped the phone service. So now, our TV comes free through the internet. We figure that in less than a year, we'll have saved enough to pay for all the new tech toys.

As a 76 y.o. (used to be) confirmed Luddite, I find all this stuff amazing.

And we are all on the Patriot Woodworker Forum.  I don't have a dog either so my camera is safe.
