Patriot Picking - Rust rust rust

I had a picker friend of mine contact me about some planes he picked. Most of it is rust, but that is good. We did a little trading and I got the iron planes and parts and a few wooden planes.

More projects!

I'm going to have to fire up the electrolysis system.

You are going to be busy now

That's quite a haul, John.

cool...

when does the shop extension begin...

Looks like work!  Great finds!

That will keep you busy for more than a few hours.  Nice haul.

Some people just fall in to "stuff" and come out all rosy!  Besides all the planes, and plane parts, that little dove-tail saw doesn't look to shabby.

Looks like it's time to re-purpose that new office into a refurb shop John. :P

I'd remove all the wooden parts in that gray tub, until just the metal stuff remains...then fill the tub to the top with Evaporust.     Come back in a day or three, and see what remains.    Would give enough time to re-finish the wood parts, too.

Nice Idea Dave. May have to make a little more room in the storage room. Less lumber, more stuff!
