Popular Post Ron Altier Posted October 12, 2016 Popular Post Report Posted October 12, 2016 This one is about 2" long. I tried some glitter paint on top of the finish. Some places look good, while some didn't do as well. Haven't used glitter much, I'll have to practice and I do like it, but maybe not with certain colors or shapes Gerald, Chips N Dust, FlGatorwood and 4 others 7 Quote
Cal Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 That looks sweet! Where did you get the gold topper for it? Cal Quote

Ron Altier Posted October 12, 2016 Author Report Posted October 12, 2016 I get all my hardware at Hobby Lobby. They are found in the necklace/ear ring supplies. They are easily adaptable to ornaments. The hooks at the top are designed for pierced ears, chain for necklaces, etc. They are priced very reasonable and usually come in packets of 6 or more. Quote
Gerald Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 So we are getting into miniatures now. Must be running out of space on that ceiling chain. A good one here. Grandpadave52 1 Quote
HandyDan Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 Nice ornament Ron. I made some of these and used glitter glue for the green tree. Covered well but don't remember if I applied more than one coat. Stick486 and FlGatorwood 2 Quote

Ron Altier Posted October 13, 2016 Author Report Posted October 13, 2016 I read back thru and discovered that my finger hit a 2" instead of a 3". So it is larger than a mini, but not by much. Quote
Grandpadave52 Posted October 14, 2016 Report Posted October 14, 2016 Fantastic Ron...you certainly have steadier hands & eye than do I. Quote
