Stomping mostly.  Actually, answered my own question, found it this morn:  put something flat on the ground such as a trash barrel, or a hand truck.  They like that.  Killed 3; one of them a 1.5" sucker.  Stomp makes me feel good all over.

You want to hunt them???...

Make some easy access housing for you and them... Trash can lid will work and it has a handle for easy lifting...

Do some night hunting... Scorpions glow in the dark under a UV/black light... Wear stomping boots or use long tongs to collect them for transport to some place else... Give them to the neighbor... Lidded wide top juice pitcher is just the ticket...

Ya know, they are beneficial to the ecosystem....

You ditch the scorpions your bug population is going to sky rocket...

or...

Bring in the birds... make some housing for them.. Put owls way up the list or just about any mouse hunter predatory type bird... (rodent control as a bennie)... They'll take it from there...

Snakes love scorpions as snack food (long list here)... Grasshopper mice, lizards/toads and bigger scorpions... Be really cool and get a couple of Meercats... Two should do it.. Turn the yard in to a dining table... and a zoo...

Dry up wet areas...

Wear boots and step w/ attitude...

Fix holes, pipe/cable chases and cracks to make entering the home less inviting... This includes ceiling fixtures because scorpions can climb.....

Pour bleach down the drains on a weekly basis.... Use about 2 tablespoons weekly per drain to deter them crawling in... Mind ya.. Bleach raises havoc w/ spetic tanks...

Mesh over the dryer vent and any holes around it.... Check the dryer vent often for lint clogs...

Get more spiders... wolf spiders (they are venomous) will kick some serious butt...

Use friendly non-harmful pest-catching spiders to take up residence... They should try to kill scorpions that come near them.... Get rid of insects like crickets, roches, cicadas, and ants... No menu... No scorpions...

Plant lavender... easy to grow and maintsain.. smells good too.. plant it around the perimeter of the house... get dried plants and lavander oil... spread the dried plants all around outside and use the oil indoors but the live plants work way more gooder... Oil, so so..

Citrus is suppose to be another deterrent... You could grow citrus in pots near your entrance areas and use citrus oil cleaners in bathroom and other wet zones of the house.

CLEAN UP THE YARD!!!

MOW!!! Ditch the wood, trash, brush piles and hoarding stashes... Ruin their homes and hiding places...They love piles of firewood, rocks, lumber, and compost heaps – you get the plan... Give the scorpion havens away or just lose/throw/dump them... Prune bushes and low overhanging stuff... Keep the house, garage, and shed walls clear...

Get garbage and compost containers up on bricks/blocks/etc that will get them them above ground level and out of the dirt... Add mesh to the base of the compost bin as a you can't come this way barrier...

The right pet will help fix the situation.... About all cats will do the deed (for entertainment purposes) and some dogs (terriers top the list) will as well... Make sure the scorpion(s) isn't/aren't really venomous and could harm your pet... (most scorpions in the USA are not highly dangerous but look into this for your area)... Naturally fast and predatory pets like terriers work out much better for this... And never force your pet into it... It's gots to be a natural thing for them...

Turn your chickens loose to eating the bugs that scorpions consider to be food... Chickens are not fussy – they'll also munch on a scorpion just as well as any bug that crosses their path.... Chow and eggs as a side bennie to the chickens to boot...

No housing... No scorpions....

Amen, Amen. I have a pet spider just outside my back door and if his - her web is empty I'll get a insect or something to put in the web and later when I check its gone. Its a big spider kind of orange looking and looks well fed.

I've heard that the Arizona Bark Scorpion is the most venomous one in the USA. They're only about 3" long. The make a nice crunching sound under a boot.

All scorpions are great at ridding the area of other insect pests.
