Off the Street Gallery (In Progress)

Featured Replies

So I'm sitting here in my truck having lunch. And across the street from where we are parked is a job going on, I think about 600 homes going in, the graders are moving dirt and having fun.

And I thought how cool would it be to have a gallery reserved for "Off the Street" photographs from our smart phones and such. This would be a hit and run gallery where we can all snap an image of whatever we see that we want to share here, and load up to the gallery.

Your walking down the street and you see a cool looking Totem pole, take a shot, load it up! A cool looking old Chuck Wagon, take a shot load it up! Yourself! Take a shot, load it up!

You get the point. What say you all?

It would be the red headed step child of the galleries. No descriptions needed, no tags, no real names for the files, just a big ol pot of images.

Sounds good to me

Like it. Where's my phone?

Will it be seperate? Do you need to get it set up before we post our off the street stuff?

Yes it will be separate. Do not post your Off the Street till we get it set up. Thanks Gene!

Well, OK then. Gives me time to find my phone.

Hey, that's kinda the way I do anyway with my post and sometimes its not even entered in the right category. But I don't own a phone, just a brownie camera.

Jesse, is it a digital brownie?

Sounds good...I'll have to get a longer cord, but it could work!

I like the idea. I've seen some things that unreal. In 1987 the area where I now live, was open range with Antelope. Now has over 100,000 people living here. There are thousands of new homes going up and one development 14,000 new homes. Before and after pictures, home styles, etc

That's what I'm talking about Ron! Off the Street gallery would be for anything, animals, people, machinery, trees, cars, you, family, anything that is interesting that you see in your daily travels.

I remember a time I was at an old cafe having lunch, and I noticed the neat joinery they had for some of the exposed framing on the interior of the restaurant, I was thinking, man, this would be cool to share with the Patriots! If only I could do a quick hit and run upload.

So ya, what you said Ron.

go for it
