September 17, 20169 yr Author comment_74618 John, the county in Ohio where I lived has a large court house that is very old, built around 1900. I have been there many times . The entry doors are HUGE and are be 8/9 feet high and were painted black. I always wondered why they would put metal doors on an entry like that. I saw a janitor and asked him about those metal doors. He just laughed and said "Metal, that's not black paint, those are black walnut from Germany" I'd love to have some of that Report
