    One has to be careful  about sites with a lot of "free" plans.....there is a scammer out there by the name of Ted and his 16,000 plans.  And all his Malware tricks...

    Another free source is Ana White, where people often adapt and contribute corollary projects.   A lot of them are "rustic," clunky, or beginner DIY level, but again browse for ideas and rough dimensions.
