Post to Post Toggle (In Progress)

Featured Replies

When I read through the posts, down at the bottom, there is a toggle for "go to next un-read message" on the right or "go to home" (or something like that) on the left side. There is not anything that I have found, short of using the browser's back arrow to go back to a previous post and nothing to put forward to the next post, if all of the posts have been read.

Would it be possible for a "previous" or "next" topic toggle?

Thanks!

Chips, sorry for coming in late on this, things got a tad bunched on me today, I'll revisit this suggestion tomorrow and dive in with my brain on fire. Just wanted you to know I got it, and I'll be looking at it sir.

Thanks!

No worries. Whenever you can and if enough others like the idea too

Still researching this issue, thanks for your patience!

No worries

Chips, I will need to get the terminology straight with you first. The above suggestion just is not coming in clear to my dense brain.

Here are a couple definitions to use-

Topic: The original information submitted in a forum by a user.

Post:  The reply or additional commentary to a Topic

Can you copy paste your topic into a new post here, and just modify the terminology.

Thanks sir!

John: How is this? I meant to be able to jump from one topic to another topic. Right now, all you can do is go to the next unread TOPIC or "Back to Topic Listing"

Hope this clears everything up

I can work with this, thanks Chips! By brain feels better now after reading the revised version.

So, we want a "Next Topic" or "Previous Topic" and when you click on it, it should got to the next Topic in line, whether it was already read or not, correct?

YES! Sometimes it would be nice to go back to previous topic when going through all of the "unread" topics without having to go back to the Topic Listing Page

Sorry for not reporting back on this Chips, still in the works, the last attempt was not very good as you saw last week when you were reporting issues with "Next Topic" on your smart phone. I had something worked up but it conflicted with the "Next Topic". We'll keep on it.
