The Keim Lumber co in OH is an Amish owned company. On display is tools of the owners father and grandfather. I thought you would like to see them. If you look below the saw top left, it looks like your mystery tool

For those who may not know, here is the link to one of our mystery tools below that Ron is speaking of.

Ron, that's a great image of some wonderful tools, wow. Thanks so much sharing it. I wish we had an Amish store in CA!

How'd he get a picture of my shop?

I don't know about changes that have occurred since I left, 8 years ago. However they were expanding when I left.

The tool between the block and the draw knives is the typical saw vice. They are usually 12-18+ inches long jaws. The "what is it" is only 3-1/2". That tells me it was meant to hold something other than a saw.

I lost the mother board in my desktop so I can't access the picture I have of my Disston saw vice. However, if you look at the 7C plane thread I started, you can see it hanging on the upper right corner of my saw till.

I look at that photo and I see some tools, that I wish were in my tool box instead of hanging on the wall.

Very cool Ron.  I really like the lathe.  Thanks for sharing.

Really nice. Lots of eye candy there!
