Shingles scheduled for cooler weather? Yes I am going to try to hold out for cooler weather. If not it will be early morning or very late evening under the lights.. Thanks for the congrats.

I'm busy going to doctors getting read for another shoulder surgery. After the shoulder surgery the doctor is going to fix the torn meniscus in my knee. Looks like I would be doing much for the next 6 to 8 weeks. Wow that doesn't sound good. Didn't you have shoulder surgery a few years ago? I had a rotator cuff a couple of years ago and a knee replaced and it was no fun. Hope all goes well and you are back up and around soon.
August 30, 20169 yr Well since it is still Monday, here is what I got done when my wife got home from work to help me lift the doors. We got them both set in place. I have a bit of adjusting to do to the French Door on the end but they are in place. I got to get the facia board up and the eves closed in and I will be ready to work on the inside. Actually I may work on the inside anyway and stay out of the sun.

I had rotator cuff surgery on the his same shoulder in2009/2010. About a month ago I was lifting a cabinet at work and felt some give in my shoulder. So here we go again. The Doc say 6 week recovery. That's a blessing. The last one was 5 month off the job.

Still working at the district maintenance carpenter shop Rich?
August 30, 20169 yr My Saturday was not what I expected. My A/C in the shop stopped working and was a warm afternoon working on 60 light bulb ornaments for our church widows banquet. They came today and fixed the A/C for a tidy sum and I got back to work. This morning I moved some azaleas to a shaded area . Got back in the shop this afternoon and finished 24 ornaments.
August 30, 20169 yr Richard, my wife just had a total shoulder replacement done 5 weeks ago. Therapy has been reduced to one day per week. She does all her exercises twice a day. About two hours total. She will never have full ROM but she's close, now. Reaching up high or reaching back beyond 90 degrees is tough. She's 68 and recovering like a 30 year old, according to the Doc. Sure hope your recovery is as swift.
