this one two sided suggestion...

this (reply tab) identifies the specific post that is being replied to...

after the reply is posted you default to the replied post instead of the end of the line/thread..

easier navigation, less scrolling, hunting where you left off and fewer missed posts... especially any posts that were submitted while you were typing..

Just to clarify, what you are asking is, to be able to reply directly to a post, within a topic, then once the reply is submitted, the reply would drop down directly below the post, correct?

somehow the reply tap/button is used as a identifier to bring you back to ''that'' post after you hit submit...

your  goes to the end of the line and you go back to the post you you replied to...

huge plus for small screens and exceptionally active threads..

way less is missed or overlooked... especially posts that need your attention...

if you click on the ball or star the precedes the thread title it takes you to the last post you read....

this does the same but you go back to the thread you posted to...

hope this makes sense...
