August 25, 20169 yr I'd like to be the first to welcome all our members to The Patriot's Pulse. Given the activity we have had recently, and all the great suggestions our members have had, we have decided to open up a forum where all of your suggestions and concerns can be gathered in one place, and hashed out for the betterment of our woodworking community. So when you get that flash of brilliance as many of our members have, regarding a great way to improve our community, you now have a home to spill your thoughts and ideas out into. I know many ideas regarding our community have been spoken of throughout our forums, if you will, can you please re-hash those ideas here so that we may all discuss and share our thoughts about them. I think I have finally lost track of all the wonderful ideas for improving our community. They are at this time scattered throughout the forums, so please bring them here, into the Patriot's Pulse! Remember, this community belongs to you, and the more you participate, the better off we all are. Welcome again to your new Patriot's Pulse

September 27, 20169 yr Where else could we find a place where management is so open to suggestions. The Pulse is a great idea. John's quest to make a great forum even better is never ending. Kudos, my friend.
September 28, 20169 yr Author Thank you all for the wonderful compliments for our woodworking community. I am flattered, honestly though, this is all about you. A community does not exist without participants, and we have had awesome participants since April of 2010 since we became a community. Many have come and gone, but we have had our core group of members and Forum Hosts who have made us what we are today, and it looks like a new wave of core members is forming up to join with our "Old Guard" and so far it's working out well. An online community is only as good as the members, so what you see going on in this community, is a reflection of your efforts. The improvements over the years, are mainly based on your suggestions. So you should all take a bow, and pat each other on the back. I would like to make one request though, please share our community with everyone you know. If you are on social media, use our share buttons, if you have an email address list, please use our invite feature to invite all your friends, be active in spreading the word, after all, we are all volunteers, nobody's pockets are getting lined with a single penny from this community, any proceeds that flow into our coffers are used to pay our hosting dues, software fees, and most of all, to support our disabled veterans. So when you spread the word, when you come on here and become active, you are doing it for those who have served and paid the price by doing so. When you support our community, you are supporting the men and women who gave much, and some who gave all. Thanks for being here folks, you are appreciated, and you are highly valued, we need you, way more than you need us!
