August 24, 20169 yr I have a small 12x22 barn style shop for doing my shaving brush business and re-scale business for straight razors. It is barber shop themed and still a work in progress. Here are a few pictures.............
August 24, 20169 yr OH wow! I could live there. Not small by any standards yet big with heart and dreams. I love it, very nice AT. You are probably tired of this question by now, where's the Barbers Pole! Love the porch and rail, and that is one of the neatest barn conversions I have seen, great job sir.

John, as you may know those barber poles are very expensive, that is if you buy the real deal like a Marvy barber pole. I will more than likely buy a knock off unless I can find a sweet deal on the real thing. I do have plans for it as well as a real barber chair for relaxing between turning. I have a flat screen for watching tv as well when wanting to get away from the house and just clear my mind. I have to admit this as well...........I am a big Wild Wild West fan from the 60's and it has pictures of Jim West and Artemus Gordon as well adorned to the walls! It is a sickness. No....the flooring is a close look but slightly darker but a very close grain of the paneling on the walls. I came close to doing exact but thought it would make people dizzy when they walked in to it like that of a fun house at a carnival...LOL!
August 24, 20169 yr Nice shop. I have your slightly bigger brother. I have the same shop with a front porch under the loft but mine is slightly bigger at 16' X 28'.

August 24, 20169 yr Awesome shop! Just one thing- The unwritten, unpublished, super secret rule for shop pictures here at the patriot- no fair cleaning up the shop before taking the pictures. It makes the rest of us look bad

I, too, collect brushes, mugs and razors (500+)...some need re-pinned. When I worked for Case Cutlery the art department supervisor used to do it for me, but that was several decades ago. I never found anyone with the knowledge, tools, and expertise to do it. Bill
August 24, 20169 yr Very nice shop...dedicated to the brush and razor fun...? ...and, yeah...ya gotta have a barber pole...
