$39.99 great deal for the small shop!!!

I'm getting my ducting in tomorrow.   I was staggerblasted at the cost of Nordfab.  I mean  the ducting is almost as spendy as the DC.

What are you using for ducting Cliff?

Nordfab. I just bit the bullet and did it.   And let me tell you,  it was a big OUCH.   I didn't do the design.  I tried and couldn't.  I'd start planing and just didn't know enough about the stuff.   So I had Doug Lippy from IndustriCorp do the lay out for me after  giving him a drawing of the shop and some telecon chats. My shop is a 20 * 40 converted garage  with cellar access so it goes into the cellar too. I bought ducting & blast gates for lines to  the TS, Router table,  Jointer/Planer, a milling slot mortiser,   two  sanders a big lather and a 20" BS, and a floor sweep by the lathe.  I didn't  go into the cellar where the DP and scrollsaw are. Ducting is all 6"  because the DC  port is  160mm.   After I install the ducting I have to figure out how to do a remote start.

On a lark I offered him about $500 less on  his quote and he accepted it.   A long time ago a guy once said to me "It never hurts to ask"  And I've found over and over that it never hurts.
