May 22, 201610 yr I got an idea for another Christmas tree ornament The last idea is on the left. The other one was an idea that didn't come out as nice as I"d like. It has 4 different color wood circles spiraling up to the top. Each circle is smaller than the last. This took a lot of set up time boring holes and making dowels to put in. I think I can do better with the knowledge I gained from this one

August 25, 20169 yr Wow, I really like those, Ron So, you inserted dowels into the drilled holes, turned the ornament, and then removed the dowel sections? Bill
August 25, 20169 yr Author I glued the dowels in the ornament on the right. I turned the one on the left with the holes in it.
