Merry Christmas to all of our Patriot Woodworkers! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve and that you have a great Christmas Day with family and friends. I also hope you got all the wonderful gifts you were expecting and got all of your shopping done for those you were shopping or building for.

Our Christmas has turned out a little different than expected, our son and daughter-n-law presented us with a new Granddaughter the 23rd. So right now they are still at the hospital and we are waiting to see when they will get here. My daughter and SNL are flooded in at his parents and not sure when they will make it, so right now our Christmas plans are on standby. But that is fine cause we were so blessed with this beautiful little baby girl.

As far as projects I finished the Lego table for my grandson. I am hoping they are able to make it today but don't want them to take a chance in the flooded area.

I have a couple of close weave bags we are going to attach with hooks on the sides so he can put his Lego's in them when not in use.

And I just had to share this with you. My granddaughter that lives with us goes to the shop with me. The other night when we were out there she said she needed a home theater room for her Barbie dolls. So she found some scrape pieces of wood in the shop and glued them up like we do cutting boards. She build benches for them to sit on and got it all together. I came in the other afternoon and she had them sitting in the theater room facing the TV. I think they were all happy.

Was doing good today...hidingout from the "Honey-do" list.......couldn't hide all day.    The Boss wanted a coat rack

Scrap of 1 x 6 Cull Cart pine, white drawer knobs, and we have a rack for coats.    We usually come in through the back of the house.   Coat rack is right over the hot air register......air dried, warm coats.   Cost?  15 minutes of puttering/muttering around.   Then.....I could go back to hiding.

Congratulations John and Family! Now that's a finished project!
