Wow, is the push on to finish projects for Christmas. I hope you all are getting some time in your shop this last weekend before Christmas. I have been in the shop the past two days all day and looks like it is going to be a busy weekend.

I have the first two of three Green Egg Tables almost finished. I have the third one cut out and ready but it will be for a Komota Joe smoke which is a Green egg look a like.

I am also working on a 24" Oak Lazysusan.

Used my router to cut it out. They wanted it to look rustic, so these boards looked quite rustic to me.

It doesn't look too bad after I started applying the finish.

Also had to take one of my large cutting boards and make a Rabbit board for a customer.

And last in the post, but not the last thing I will be working on are these Walnut shadow boxes that will be used for jewelry displays. Just starting to put finish on them. Glass is cut and ready to assemble when they dry.

So what is going on in your Patriot Woodworker shop this weekend?

We here at TPW love to see all the wonderful projects and here all about them. So I will be looking for your post to share with us your weekend woodshop projects.

Now that the siding is finished, I can get back to the shop and do some cleaning. Still have some rolling pins to finish, too.

I'm pulling a rarity and taking a night away from the shop.  A perch dinner and cocktail at our Elks Lodge is taking its place. It sure feels good to relax for an evening.

It has been busy the past few weeks with my wife Tami being a special ed teacher with autistic kids. Yesterday was the last day with kids and today was a wrap up day so now she is off until January 4th. Had a Christmas Party at our house last night for her Autism Team which went well and everyone had a good time. I had a table out with some of the cutting boards and cheese boards as a couple of the teachers wanted to get one so that wraps up the selling for the year and all the left overs are set aside to be given as gifts as we have a number of weddings coming up with friends. So nothing woodworking related on my schedule for this weekend. We have been burning the candle at both ends the last couple of weeks so we plan on kicking back this weekend. I may take a trip to the indoor shooting range and run some rounds through my glock as I got a gift card for some range time. I put on a new extended magazine release on the gun as I have small hands so getting a couple of millimeters extension makes dropping the magazines much easier. I did go and see the new Star Wars movie today so I will probably take Tami to see it over the weekend.

Still working on Morris chairs. Bending the arms now.  3 ea 3/8" thick pieces to be bent and laminated.

That'll be Sunday. Today, we go to the big town to see the Star Wars movie, eat a lunch. and I get a hair cut.

Wow, I'm late to the party.  On this weekend before Christmas, I'll be supporting my wife as we attend an annual dinner for her side of the family.  A small gathering of about 300 people.  Tomorrow, Colts football but no shop work for a few days.  The first bedroom loft set is waiting on my daughter to paint and then I can move it out and finish the second one.  Man, I need a bigger shop.

Having been in your shop, I can see your problem in building something of this size. Is it time to think about expanding the shop into the pool? :D

Don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind. Maybe the neighbors house will come up for sale.

Glue ups going on in the Dungeon Shop ( I doubt IF I'd ever build a Loft bed down there..)

Nailed some wedges, cussed up a storm, drilled some holes, cut some dowels.  Even used two "Vintage" drills

Used this old Push Drill to make starter holes for this "New-Fangled" drill..

7/16" drill bit was a little hard to start.....Might, just might, get the top on this table....Sunday??
