April 29, 201511 yr Author Well the veneering went well on one side, anyway. The other side, not so much. Hadn't figured on the beautiful wild grain book match expanding at a different rate than the surrounding wood. It would be wonderful if I was going for a small volcano in the middle of the humidor back!! Do you call those weights, other than the anvil looking steel thing, lead pigs? The "anvil" is a piece of railroad rail. They make great anvils and weights. The lead pieces are Scuba diving weights left over from my daredevil days.
