April 29, 201511 yr Author comment_60225 Well the veneering went well on one side, anyway. The other side, not so much. Hadn't figured on the beautiful wild grain book match expanding at a different rate than the surrounding wood. It would be wonderful if I was going for a small volcano in the middle of the humidor back!! Do you call those weights, other than the anvil looking steel thing, lead pigs? The "anvil" is a piece of railroad rail. They make great anvils and weights. The lead pieces are Scuba diving weights left over from my daredevil days. Report
