Lew, I took you up and bought another display cabinet last week at an auction. I got this one for 9.00 and then had three new glass shelves cut for 6.00. 

 

I just not sure this one is going to be big enough either. But all of the small planes are going in this one. Well maybe not all of them, I think there are more than it will hold. 

 

I guess I need to be looking for another one, what do you think Lew?

 

That's a nice cabinet John, specially for 9 bucks. You can't make a cabinet like that for 9 bucks! Are you going to use it as is? Or refinish or?

I'm going to use it as is John. I have several of the finger planes and squirrel tail planes that i am going to put in the cabinet. So I think with those it there it will look good just as it is, well with a little clean up to remove the dust and dirt.

 

The new shelves are wrapped in brown paper in the bottom. I haven't unwrapped them yet and put them on the holders.

With the glass shelves, you could add some lights inside and really show off those planes!!
