Time just seems to be rushing by. Here we have already finished a month in the New Year and seems like we were just having Christmas. I guess the holidays are over and now it is time to get to work in the shop.

I will be installing the corner benches this weekend provided we finally get a break in the rain. I also worked on the table assemble last night so it should be finished soon. I have a green egg table in the drawing stages as this is a custom job. So we are getting things going in the shop and moving ahead.

What kind of projects are you planning this weekend. I know on Sunday, most of you will be tied the TV to watch the super bowl commercials and try to catch a bit of the game between them. Share with us what you will be doing in the woodworking shop on Saturday. We here at TPW love to see your projects and hear all about them.

So come on and share with us what you are working on.

Got the go ahead to make the pulpit for my sister's minister. The weather, however is not cooperating so I can get veneer plywood back from the millworks without getting everything snow covered.

Other than that it will be a fun weekend- Making chili for the Ice Fest/Chili Contest tonight- Contest tomorrow, Super Bowl Sunday with relatives, winter storm watch for Sunday night and Monday, Monday is Groundhog Day. The excitement just never stops here in south central PA!

I been FROZED outta da shop.  For the last 20 - 30 days every single night has been  near the teens and the days ain't been much bettuh.

Maybe I can get that chick from Frozen to come and thaw me out.

Looks like I'll be shoveling snow this weekend.  NWS is calling for 8-10 inches for here.  Other than that, I'll be working on a loft for my grandson.

I'm working the full time job tomorrow then the wife and I are off to a movie and dinner with some friends who just found out the plant he's worked at for 35 years is being shut down in April and he'll be out of a job.

as for the woodworking I'll be finishing some of the 24 lazy susans I cut out this week, turning some potato mashers (brand new item for me this week) rolling pins, and gluing some cutting boards.

Assembling a few doors. Prepping some walnut for the hinges.

First time making hinges. If the process is as fun as I think it will be, I may forego all of the pregame coverage. Well really, regardless of the fun involved with the hinges, I'll forego all the pregame hype. Unless there's a ball pressure checking ceremony.

I'll probably be asleep by half time.

I think this weekend I will make "The Way Cross".  Great project made from 3/8" Maple and 1/2" Walnut.  Should take me most of the weekend to finish.

I wonder if they will check the pressure of the balls between plays?

Just wondering;

If New England wins, will they have a deflated ball on top of the Super Bowl trophy?

Firewood yesterday, shovel snow today.

About 8" so far with 2-5" more on the way.

Snowpocolipse has came. :(

Just wondering;

If New England wins, will they have a deflated ball on top of the Super Bowl trophy?

John - you are BAAAAAAAAAAAAD
