I bought this hand plane at a pawn shop for $6 a while back. Be working on cleaning it up.. Still got a little ways to go but I'm getting closer to finishing it.?

Ill do that Steven Newman . I just put it back together the way it was when I bought it at the pawn shop. Unfortunately I didn't realize it was on wrong. Thanks for the help.

I had one of those little planes also that was until my wife took it from me. it was a great pocket plane for doing a quick chamfer ar to knock a nib or corner off.

I have 2 of the small ones. They are great for like John said, a quick chamfer or nibs. But I like to take mine to the lumber yard and see whats under the rough cut. Most people don't mind a little scrape.

I agree,, the small ones are really nice.

 

I must have about six or eight of them now.

 

I picked up this on over the weekend.
