Friday, Jan 9th, What's on Your Patrtiot Woodworker Agenda?

Featured Replies

I have 99% of my shop back together and have also found this to be a good time to do a bit of maintenance on my tools. Earlier this week I checked all the settings on my table saw. Adjusted the blade to the miter slots, the fence to the slot. I changed out the board on my extension table and got everything level and square and adjusted the fence rails so it is also level.

Last night I stated with the planner and made adjustments to the bed rollers, the infeed and outfeed rollers, changed the gear box oil and gave everything a good cleaning with mineral spirits.

This has bee a great time to get everything ready to start a new year.

I should have all of the DC connection made this weekend. Cold weather hit and I had to work a little later a few days so I didn't get that finished during the week. I am almost ready to start running boards through everything.

So how about the rest of  your Patriot Woodworkers, what's on your agenda this weekend? You know that we here at TPW love to see those wonderful projects you are working on or hear about your shop and what you are doing with. it.

Share with us how you are starting off the new year in your Patriot Woodworker shop!

By the way, don't forget to join in on the raffle for the Laguna Revo Lathe! Of if you don't then I might be the only one and get a to win that great little lathe!!

I'm waiting to hear about your weekend agenda!

Heading back into my shop in a few minutes John to help mama get her stuff squared away now, my side is pretty much done, but now we need to get the other side of the garage organized, then I can finally get back into woodworking bliss! I have not been able to make a lot of sawdust in months due to household items being stored in the other side of the garage shop, so it will be nice to finally get it all back in its place and my shop back.

Don't have a particular project going right now, but I do have to make a drop-down router bit cabinet. I have more bits then space. Sunday is all about Colts football.

Rebuilding my grow light platform. Planting hot pepper seed in a couple of weeks. I was able to get some Carolina Reaper seeds to go along with the Trinidad Scorpions, Red Morugas and the standard ghost pepper seeds.

"By the way, don't forget to join in on the raffle for the Laguna Revo Lathe! Of if you don't then I might be the only one and get a to win that great little lathe!!"

I don't turn, John. Consequently, I won't be entering the raffle. When you win, just send me finder's fee. :D

This weekend will be rather hectic. Will be taking Phyl's brother to the airport in Phoenix. That blows Saturday. Sunday I'll piddle around with the never ending jewelry chest project.

I've got most of the hardware for a homemade router lathe. Hope to get started on that sometime next week. I said I don't turn....well, not in the traditional sense, anyway. This thing will be all I need for spindles. I can already make bowls with the router. Just not very deep.  ;)
