Custom Intarsia Pet Urn

Featured Replies

I just finished this pet urn for a client in memory of "Bubz" the dog.

The urn is made from antique mahogany and measures 8" x 8" x 4" and has a removable bottom cover.

The Intarsia consists of 45 pieces from 9 different woods.

The Subject photo of "Bubz" supplied by the client.

Mike you do great work. Love to see how  you put it all together. That was a nice project!

Mike, I love how you book matched the top (walnut?) so that the grain mimics the round  portion.

I dread the day when I have to make one of these.

Your reputation is established Mike, we would expect nothing less of you by now, this is absolutely great work, and the walnut grain direction really adds a nice dimension to the lid, as if nature built that piece of walnut especially for this project.

Mike, that's a beautiful box befitting a beautiful friendship.

I continue to be amazed by your artistic and woodworking talents.

Stunning work again Mike. So fitting a resting place for a family member and friend.
