And since it was Black Friday we added a new tool to the shop.

Yep we are adding a 32" LED TV to the shop with a full motion mount so it can be seen anywhere in the shop.

I never thought I wanted a TV in the shop but I spend so much time there now I'll get to catch a little TV.

So what's on your Patriot Woodworker agenda? We here at TPW love to see your projects so let us see what you are working on.

glued and processed 10 pizza peels

planed, cut and processed 20 more pizza peels

replaced the tires and guide blocks on my band saw

replaced the bearings in my planer

shortened the link belt on my belt/disk sander

moved the switch on my disk sander

cut out 6 more bread knives

watched the Christmas parade

replaced the router in my table

looking back I guess I had a bunch of maintenance items today.

Wow, John and John!

Ya both got a ton done.

Got 3 drawer fronts inlaid and leveled.

Took off a grinder wheel, awaiting the new 100 and 150 grit Nortons I ordered.

Took my niece on a petrified wood hunt. Went over some rugged terrain. Fun drive. That Polaris Ranger is a wonder machine.

Finally, watched the U of A vs ASU game. Great game. U of A won and their next game is with Oregon for the PAC 12 Championship.

Oh, BTW. A big thanks to Stanford.(insert 3 thumbs up)

Today will see the start of 12 tiny M&T joints. Gotta mill the 3/8 X 5/8 members, first.

Finally, back in the shop (disrupted by Thanksgiving and weather). This weekend I have 2 things that need finished (as in paint and varnish). Since finishing keeps me from making dust (dust nibs) the focus will be on the task at hand. I have a vanity and a small rollong shlef I need to egt completed.

Today I'll finish my DIL's wall coat rack and get started on a loft.

Wow and wow, that's a lot of great woodworking projects going on. You guys sure stay busy.

Thanks for posting them.

I'm off to the shop to start planing and gluing cutting boards.

I had a tv in our shop John, but we cut our cable because it was just stupid of us to pay those rates with kids an all, so the tv does not work but I do miss it, I'd take a break and flip on Fox News at times, or I'd listen to news during non machine moments in the shop. All I need to do is purchase an aerial antenna for the thing and I'd get broadcast stations no problem, I just need to do it is all. We have an aerial for our main tv in the family room, and we love it, we get high def broad cast stations, and we have a ROKU that hooks up to our internet connection and when we do watch tv that is our entertainment beside broadcast. It's worked out great, no more a slave to the cable company! Even took our phone off the cable providers service and went with Vonage, so the only thing we have on our cable provider bill is internet. We saved 100 bucks a month by doing this, and we don't have 1592 channels we never watched anyway! That's a savings of 1200 bucks a year, that goes along way for school clothes and other stuff!
