    Sorry I missed this one Gene, that is one nice scraper! I have not seen those before, I am accustomed to the typical sprung steel or stamped steel with a burnished edge, that scraper you have shown is danged near a finger plane!

    Ron, Yep it's hardened. 

    It's a very nice scraper. Doesn't wear my old fingers out and stays cool, and sharp longer.
